RII30815 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations

Funding ranges from fully funded to partial funding depending on each situation.

Training assessment is competency based and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available to participants upon application.  Due to this the training time frame may vary considerably, up to a maximum of 36 months.
   
The Certificate comprises nineteen (19) units of competency structured as follows:
·fourteen (14) core units of competency, and
·five (5) elective units of which:
·at least one (1) must be chosen from group A, and
·at least two (2) must be chosen from Group B, and
·up to two (2) may be chosen from Group C, and
·up to one (1) may be chosen from a Certificate II, Certificate III or Certificate IV level from this, or any other Training Package or accredited course
OR
·at least two (2) must be chosen from group A, and,
·up to three (3) may be chosen from group A, B, or C, and
·up to one (1) may be chosen from a Certificate II, Certificate III or Certificate IV level from this, or any other Training Package or accredited course

Qualification Description
This qualification reflects the role of employees such as production operators in an open cut mine or quarry, who perform tasks involving a broad range of skilled applications in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures.
Licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements that apply to this qualification can vary between states, territories, and industry sectors. Relevant information must be sourced prior to application of the qualification.
   
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
   
Packaging Rules
The following provides the packaging rules for this qualification, followed by a list of relevant units of competency offered by Axxis Project Training.
Total number of units = 13 
  • 3 core units  plus 10 elective units, 
of which:
  • one (1) must be chosen from Group A
  • one (1) must be chosen from Group B
  • at least three (3) must be chosen from Group C
  • no more than (3) may be chosen from Group D
  • no more than (2) may be chosen from within this training package, or from another endorsed training package, or from an accredited course.
All elective units selected from outside this qualification must reflect current occupational and learning outcomes of this AQF qualification level.

·2 units may be from Group A, Group B or any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course at the same qualification level
·up to four (4) may be chosen from a Certificate III or Diploma level from this, or any other Training Package or accredited course

Training assessment is competency based and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available to participants upon application.  Training may be conducted by the following methods or a combination of the following methods: in person, over the internet or by correspondence. Due to the variety of options, varying levels of candidate experience and the option of blended training, the training time frame may vary considerably. The most likely option is face to face one day per week plus completion of assessment assignments in between.
